Digital Video Disc

Here is a review of Steve's DVD (which everyone is calling "live at the basement" despite the "real" title emblazened clearly beneath his name.)

emblazened clearly is redundant, huh? I'll leave it anyhow.
I need to snap out of it though.

Jesse? My dvd is at home so I can't reference it at the moment -- but what is it supposed to be called?

I'm confused.

I'm going to ask for it for Christmas...I can't wait. hee hee hee Unless I get a job before then instead of spending all day trying to find a way to hang this full length mirror on a door made of balsa wood...I think I'm gonna buy 25 packs of double sided sticky tape...and worry about getting that thing off some other day.

"the horrendously garish number adorning Mr Poltz (surely the result of a lost bet?)"

Obviously the reviewer is not at all familiar with Steve's regular wardrobe.

Re: the title, there have been a series of discs released in Australia under the name "Live at The Basement', and something as generic as "Digital Video Disc' scribbled on artwork which shares equal space with the aforementioned title is easily misconstrued. Besides, even the distributor lists it thusly...

(it was also called as much on promotional flyers etc - what's a poor little reviewer to do then? :)

As for Rawb's observation (hello Rawb!), indeed I was unfamiliar with Steve's sartorial choices as this DVD was my introduction to him - you mean to say he usually wears icky stuff like that?!!! ;)

Amy --

You did a phine job -- rilly! Rawb is right on though -- Steveo is most definitely fashionably challenged. It's one of his most endearing qualities. The plaid pants and checked socks in addition to a fine polyester shirt -- who could ask for anything more?

Maxilicious -- We have found that a picture hanging device along with copius amounts of duct tape in circles will hold a door mirror in place for years. Godspeed young man.

No need for confusion, Ms. P. While designing it, I just liked the idea of it being titled Digital Video Disc. I don't know that it was ever discussed. The business-sensible thing won out.

No North American version release? Ah, heck, we're still waiting for a new CD too. And, like, a tour.

Steve and Peter Stuart should tour together, wear the same clothes, and we can try to tell them apart from song to song.

I have too much time on my hands thinking of this crap.

At the risk of being booed off the forum ...
Does anybody else realise that DVD actually stands for Digital Versatile Disc ... not Digital Video Disc????

Alas, it is true ... and a useless piece of trivia for y'all to log into the cranium.

i stole mommie's card and ordered the disc. a man with a big beard and sweaty gut delivered it to my house. i gave him a smooch and a hug and sent him home smiling. then i watched it. i went to bed smiling. he's just too cute for werds.
