Awesome detective work 98 pounder! I thought I was going to have to sign up and pay for the b&t show in order to hear.

When's the World Cafe going to be broadcast?

Wow. I can actually listen to this on the radio. AND they fixed your name on the website! Sweet.

I'm pumped about the Bob and Tom performance, right here in Indianapolis. I'll be tuned in and it will be awesome! The Rugburns on Bob and T om in 1996 is what made me a fan originally. I only wish there was a live performance here in town to go along with it that I could check out! Hopefully soon!

Details? Songs, etc? Some of us Barbarians on the west coast are Bob and Tomless! (Wondering whether to pay the $6.95 for VIP access to listen on the web, or will they put SP in the freebie section soon? My wife calls me cheap but I am merely thrifty.)

Steve was on the air from 9 am until about 10:30. He told many great stories, including the Mexican Federalie story, the testicular ultrasound story, the story about meeting Elvis, and the story about using laxitives before a wrestling meet. He played four songs live. They were:

Sugar Boogers
You Were Meant for Me (w/ David Cassidy story)
Give You Up for Lent
Me and Eddie Vedder

It was a great show!

Although I knew of the 'burns before bob and tom, it was the 96 Bob and tom gig that drew me into album purchases. Somehow, I missed any pre announcement of Steve being on the show, and therefore did not have a tape handy at work. I did listen to the entire Poltz segment (including technical glitch locally) and it was awesome. I would love to find someone who recorded it and get a copy. It was truly great.

Heard you for the first time on Bob and Tom today. Superb. Good Singer, funny, very entertaining. I was looking forward to Rodney Carrington today, but I think you were definitely the highlight of the show!

Heard you for the first time on bob & tom on wednesday. you were by far the funniest person that they have had on the air in a very long time. your mexican federalie stroy was funny, but not nearly as hilarious as your david cassidy bridge between the you were meant for me song. keep up the good work. will look for you more on the web.

I think Steve really impressed Bob and Tom. Just think all of the people that heard him. Steve, it looks like you've got some new fans. Wow! I bet it was really cool to actually be there and meet Bob and Tom... Sweet...
Peace out!

Springr: I think Bob and tom were already impressed a long time ago. When they played the live day show 8 years ago or so, They were totally impressed. In fact, When they first said the Rugburn were there, I thought bob and tom would hate them. But they played Suburbia and Tree Hugger, and Bob and tom were lovin it. Ive been a Bob and tom fan since about '89, but would be far more thrilled to meet Steve than B&T, quite honestly. My biggest 3 questions are:

What took so long to bring a rugburn back?

When will the burns do some more work together?

When will Steve OR the Rungurns play a SHOW in indy, not just bob and tom? IM DYING OVER HERE!

What the hell is a Rungurn? know what I meant :)
