I am quitting touring to study the JFK conspiracy

Forget music. I am obsessed with the JFK assassination. I spent too much time in Dallas. All I really want to talk about is whodunnit. I lounged on the grassy knoll and discussed various theories with the bums who sell info and give you their economic theories. I gave a homeless man a ciggy and listened to his version of what he thinks happened.
Tonight we play Detroit. It has been too long since I have rocked this hamlet. I think most of the Pistons are coming to the show. I hear tell that they are huge fans of cardboard box and guitar beats.
We are always late. I am sick of the van. I wish I had clean socks. Yoo Hoo is pretty good when mixed with jolly ranchers. Do I even have a home? I know a couple of waitresses at The Waffle Houses in various towns across the country. One of them has a gold tooth and a smile wider than the Mississippi.

Completely unrelated to Kennedy, but in case you haven't gotten around to it yet, "Rings" was written by Alex Harvey and Eddie Reeves. Just because I was bored and looked it up :-)

Please don't quit. At least not until after the east coast leg of the tour. "They" know everything that happened and if you get close to knowing I fear for your safety. Use George as your human sheild and go forward carefully.

You know what the lowly but enlightened guru says...take time to wash your socks. I think it was take out the trash but I pray you get your socks washed...bad smell with cardboard boxes.

The vision of JFK's head being blown off from behind haunts me. Over and over and over- o.k. I will give in to the theory that the fatal shot came from the grassy knoll- just stop the movie. And I can still see Jackie grabbing for the piece of brain- over and over and over. I think the conspiracy theorists are conspiring to take over my brain.
