pet song

this is a song for anyone who misses their pet today

i don't wanna say goodbye to my friend
i don't wanna think that this is the end so long
i don't wanna say farewell to my pet
i think they all go to heaven
that's what i bet so long au revoir

well there's toodles the dog and mimi the cat
benny the bunny was gettin' too fat
man it's lonely
cuz she was my one and only

and mugsy the pug got hit by a car
while crossing the street
he didn't get far it's scary
in a pet cemetary

don't wanna say goodbye to my friend
i don't wanna think that this is the end so long
i don't wanna say farewell to my pet
i think they all go to heaven
that's what i bet so long au revoir

there was bu bu and bo bo and baby butt head
not sure what they were but i'm sure that they're dead
they're dead oh yeah they're dead

peaches and daisy and tipper the dog
are buried right next to arnold the hog
our love wasn't fakin'
we wouldn't let you become bacon

my one and only friend lies here
my beloved my pal our love is eternal
you are my heart i will always love youwe will see each other again in heaven
here comes the rain and thunder
and you're just 3 feet under

don't wanna say goodbye to my friend
i don't wanna think that this is the end so long
i don't wanna say farewell to my pet
i think they all go to heaven
that's what i bet so long au revoir

i am sick to death of my pet, will you please take her away to the sweet hereafter? no i take it back, she is keeping me company in my little isolation booth... plus i wouldn't count on heaven for her kind.

I'm telling Cabo and Phil!!!

Alex, Church, Podunk and Rugby think you're sweet. Jeff, Emmett, Chaz and Johnny Damon are a little skeered, cuz they're not sure what you're doing with Benny the bunny.

Someone killed our dog... one time... we heard the gunshots...

I don't think that dog went to heaven... she was always going into garages of neighbors that owned guns...

Reduced me to a pile of quivering tear jelly.

Lost a lot of pets in my day, to gun shots, road kills, tomcat fights, dog fights, coyote fights, heart attacks, and leukemia.

Hell, my house's yard is a veritable pet cemetary.

Song is good. Needs to mention something about swiss cheese, though, or the record exec's won't want anything to do with it.

Dear Jack-

It's very interesting that there is no photo credit for that shot that goes with your new "hit" song. Very interesting.

i am not even going to listen to this song. the thought of remembering my first dog hurts too much. and the thought of not having Johnny "Cash" around will give me an aching heart. sorry steve, i'm sure it is beautiful.

My first visit back to your site for quite a while, and this is what I come across, right when I'm going through the pain of losing my lovely catgirl of 15 years, Ella. She is my walking, breathing soul; my little living piece of magic in an indifferent world. Thank you for writing this. See you in Melbourne in August.
