It's chili season in New Mexico

It's chili season in New Mexico and Billy Harvey says I am running for President. Is this a photo-op or what? We spent the night on the Billy's Granfather's plantation. (that's what I call it) His Grandpa must have been watching from up in heaven because we got the star treatment. The people in the picture below have a once a year chili fest where they peel chilis for the upcoming year. I had to get in on that action. Gloves are a must or you will burn your skin to smithereens. After we peeled them one of the ladies made us burritos for the road. I have never tasted anything so scrumptious. I think you should rent a car and drive through New Mexico this time of year. The scenery is stunning.
I had such a fun show in Phoenix! I want to send a huge smile out to the Arizona peeps for coming out to The Rhythym Room for a 3 hour show. My voiced is trashed but it was worth it. More later.
The mountains of Colorado are calling me.

What a rockin' time at the RR! First time hearing Billy and I dig his new CD. Steve-O was simply outstanding. He made mention of someone who records his shows. Anyone know who that is? I'd gladly pay for a copy. Anyone else out there who suffers from mild depression after Stevie leaves town? It's so long between show and he's so unique. It's like a friend going away for a real long time. I need to grow up, I know. My 46th Bday is next week so maybe I'll finally figure it all out. I hope not.
I think you put that beautifully, Impala Bruce :). If this is an illness, I don't want a cure.
I'm sure the show will show up on the poltz.com\vbulletin area soon!
Steve -- Please tell me that you stocked up on some of those amazing peppers!!
You look hot in white gloves. You could have had a medical career.
xo
Hello Impala Bruce. Don't fee"l alone (in regards to the last few sentences of your post). Most of the Poltz "after show" depression patients" are over at the "all points bulletin" page.
I'm several years older than you and my 25 year old daughter turned me on to Steve about 3 years ago. He makes me feel young every time I see him.
A unique writer/performer indeed!!!

are those chili burns on the man's forearm? yuse and dem chili peppas are sure cool man. Note your experienced pepper peeling amigo...his leg position protect his privates--yours however are fanning potential flaming balls should you drop that orange mass. Next time take note. Cool rig in the back drop. Peeling peppers and picking berries, simply good things to do in the fall.

HOLY F*$#IN SHIT! *YOU* get NM chiles (yes, it's chilEs) BEFORE *I* DO! OMG!!!!! I'm driving to Hatch, NM tomorrow! I'M SOOOOOOOO JEALOUS, but glad you got in on the action. did the smells of roasting chiles fill the air and elevate the majestic beauty of NM landscapes to a YET higher level? (no, i *don't* miss NM). :) I *SINCERELY* hope you packed a 40lb bag into the van! There's a shortage in Tucson....no kidding!
zonies love and miss you.
Why are chilies hot and hotties cold? Maybe hotties need chilies to chill or chillies need hotties to hot. Regardless, hotties and chilies go together like beans and rice.
dear steven-
you are very handsome in your white gloves. those chilis look yum....have you heard stadium arcadium?
and...
a flute without holes, is not a flute. a donut without a hole, is a danish.
safe travels,

I thought that after show feeling was my slight hangover and a lack of sleep, Long Boarder Bruce...excuse me, IMPALA Bruce :o)
Nay, nay Jules! It's the Poltzpartem blues we're stuck with, for sure. No remedy except to sleepily strum my 6-string and be resigned that I'm a cheap copy of the original until the next encounter. It's a long emotional hang-over with only one remedy: a blender full of the beautiful guy and his wonderful zany songs the next time around. Thanks for turning me on to all this even if I'm all the more blue for it...
A special thanks to Tussy and Tom for your heartfelt responses. It helps to know I'm not alone in the universe. I've spent some time, as you suggested, weaving through the other walking wounded on the APB section of the site. I've found a home there, for sure. It's been just over a year since my discovery of SJJP (via Jules) and I never ventured to that part of the site to air my woes. Bless you both!
I love Chile.
More than Uruguay, even.
for the record,
i am now a fan of 'box full of anvils.'
perhaps it just had to stew a bit... :)
i think you should play it at the wedding. :0
yours in christ
