finally home!

polioboy23.jpg
Halleluiah! I have 3 days off. I saw Borat. Read the paper. Slept in and tomorrow going to eat some Mexican food. Thanks for coming out to all the fine shows from San Fran to San An. It was true pleasure traveling through the towns that were on this last leg of shows. Borat was funny. The paper was depressing and sleeping was my favorite thing of all.
My friend Tim Flannery is going to The Giants as their 3rd base coach ending 25 plus years with The Padres. We had fun on the road together and it was great hearing all the beisbol stories from him. I wish him and well must say it will be strange seeing him in a S.F. Giants uniform alongside Bruce Bochy. I don't know what I'll do when they play each other?.
I am heading to the east coast this weekend so come check out a show or 2.
Empty bottles on my shelf. I got no one to listen for.
and i'm at home all by myself
they say you left 2 days before
my arrival.............

Listen here

I love this weather.
peace out,
Me

I wanted that little snippet of a song to go on and on, as I listened in the dark before the sun came up... more, please!

I wonder if this is another song from the song writing game. The scrapster here in a-town has a song called 'empty bottles'.

I planned to see Before the Music Dies last night but had a fever ...so hope to see it on Sunday. If you haven't seen it, do it. I hear that Poltzy is in it so that's worth the price of admission right there.

Empty Bottles? What's up with that? Jeez, you go & book a few dates w/ Jewel & now you're changing the titles of my favorite songs, just like her. Well, I don't care what the file name says -- I'm still calling it King Minus Queen. Either way, I hope this means you'll be reviving it for the aforementioned dates. I'll see you in Milwaukee. :-)

thanks for reminding me.

Aw shucks, you're welcome, brother. Just doin' my job as pseudo-archivist. Speaking of that... that CD project you asked me to take on when we were in KC is on the agenda for this weekend. Drop me an email & let me know where I need to send it.

thanks.
are you able to watch these you tube links?

Posted by: steverino at November 17, 2006 9:57 AM

I am, sorta... if I press pause, go away & let it load for about half an hour, then come back & hit play. It's a project in & of itself.

Steve,
Doug P. turned me on to you said I had to hear ur ' Waterfalls' when I was working with Tony buying DP's CD Westgate.. Doug and I sat in 7th grade english class together, Hormones colliding and brewin...for decades...UMMM.. A wild horse took me away from our long friendship..(cough cough.) My college boyfriend played base ball with another friend of yours... Tim Flannery.. My bf played with minors CA Angels and Tim was at bat against us in the same AAA leagues... ahhh... beisbol...musica and baseball..
Tonight I am a queen listening to you, Pettibone, and Flannery from my laptop in SM, CA..
A king minus a queen?? maybe..
I prefer to think sometimes it is the reverse..

QUEEN LOST HER KINGSLY ARMOUR.

AND LEFT HER DAMN BOTTLES BEHIND.. BLASPHEMY!.....
