Maury Show Part 2

This is where young Jack really deserves an Oscar for his performance as Amber and later on as Maury Povich.
Speaking of The Oscars, I wanted Letters From Iwo Jima to win best picture or Little Miss Sunshine. I thought that The Departed wasn't even worthy of being nominated. The ending was a joke with everyone being shot. I also thought Peter O'toole would win for best actor but I was happy to see Forest Whitaker win for The Last King of Scotland. Did you guys see Venus? It's quite good.
Ellen Degeneres was really funny as host last night. I love her sense of humor. She once hired The Rugburns to play at a party in her backyard years ago. She was very cool and paid us well and danced all night.

Meet me in Bozeman Montana this weekend. Please??? We can go skiing and the place I am playing at is way cool. I'll see you there.
cheers mates,

2 words for you maury…..personal space?

bravo jack, bravo! :) :) :)

 we missed you and Jack on the red carpet last night.

did you slip in behind Nicole Kidman and Naomi Wyatt? :HOT:

two things we ALL wanted to know: (1) which designer for sjjp? and (2) fishnets or no fishnets? :-0

yeah, with Lucas, Spielberg, and Coppolla presenting, you knew it HAD to be Scorsese.

what about our dear friend Jack Nicholson? Seemed as if he and Clint Eastwood were 3 sheets to the wind!?

but hey, Pan’s Labyrinth did well, eh? gotta see that one soon. :)

You're one heckuvan actor Steve, but your critical skills are lacking. The Departed was great fun! I can't believe that someone who has 18 copies of Roadhouse is bein' such a hater. For your punishment, I sentence you to 5 repeated viewings of Gangs of New York.

I had no idea that YOU were the one that started Ellen's dance party! That rules! You should get on her show when your album comes out. :)

I have to agree with dana on that one. I really liked the departed. I would assume there may have been a more oscar worthy film on that list, but it was a good movie. it would be weird to get an oscar in that situation...knowing that it was probably more for your body of work than for that particular movie.

I did want o'toole to win, but figured it would have been forest whitaker. it's probably better that way, because it would have been the same situation. o'toole rules. o'doyle drools.

I miss richard harris.

i'm not being a hater. i just think the departed became a joke at the end with everyone being shot. i started laughing really hard. now gangs of new york? that was way better. goodfellas, taxi driver, raging bull and the king of comedy and... after hours. these were great films. the departed? no way.

you're right. ellen should have me sing sewing machine on her show. that would be cool.

hilarious!!! jack rules! i can't believe you made him say "i did do the pole once". it sounds so innocent coming from him. his laugh is the cutest ever.
my favorite line by the swede..."well terrence is always with her playing sucker".
nice rain scene and sound effects at clearly significant moments.
you are genius!

you liked gangs of new york better? hunh. I love the line in after hours when he axes for her phone #. "not enough numbers, but...o-kay."

I still haven't watched these damn videos 'cause I can't access 'em here.

wow. that's a flashback. what a bunch of haters! gangs of new york was GOOD. not as good as after hours but really good.
sean? i like the way you said "huh."

Posted by: steverino at February 27, 2007 11:35 AM

oh, I liked gangs. just thought the departed was better. but just 'cause my opinion is righter doesn't mean I love you any less...
