Oh my Lordy Lord Lord!
I am an avid follower of The Ducksnorts baseball blog. This is seriously my favorite website. I visit it daily like a stalker. I never make comments on it because I am too scared. Geoff Young has been blogging about The San Diego Padres since 1997
and he is very baseball savvy. So when he asked to interview me I was flabbergasted. This is cooler than having Time Magazine interview me as far as I am concerned. We chatted so long that he is running the interview in 5 segments every Thursday except Thanksgiving. To read the first part of the interview Click Here for Ducksnorts

Feel free to thank Geoff for making my life.
Yours Truly,

Cool Pic! I didn't even notice you at first...kind of Mission Impossibleish or Spidermanish....but considering your lung condition, I don't see you being a SuperHero anytime soon.....good interview as well...looking forward to the other 4 parts.

Weeee!! I love new interviews. How cool is it that I can still learn new stuff about you after all these years?

And... you're learning By the Time I Get to Phoenix? Awwwwhhhh.. :heartmelts:

ps. My buddy Virginia (Suffolk!) took her sister to see you in NY at the Living Room last month. Her sister asked her at some point, "Does he always tell so many stories?" and Virginia replied, "Sometimes it's just a lecture." :D

yeah. i'm thinking of just lecturing from now on.
wait until you hear the way we were live on acoustic guitar. that's the only sauce that will keep ee from just yakking away.

G'day Steve. I dunno if you're speaking some new California dialect in that second sentence, but I don't get it.

congrats! congrats!

this is great! see, you're getting closer and closer to that 2008 nomination...

POLTZ in 2008!

um...visiting daily == stalker ?? :D

p.s. you could SO easily market a *saucy beisbol lecture series*

Posted by: db cooper at November 9, 2007 8:18 AM

i meant to say "the way we were" is my favorite sauce ever. sauce is song and song is sauce.
that is the only sauce to keep me not ee from yakking the whole show away.

"the way we were"... It's all coming together for me now.

On the other hand, are you sure you're not gay? I mean if it wasn't for that whole sleeping with men thing, I think you'd make a great gay man.

That's an awesome earticle. Geoff Young sure does know a lot aboot baseball. Did he have any marinara song with his pasta?

So what is it, about 100 days until pitchers and catchers report?

that photo is awesome. i wish i had taken it. it would go over well in my photo class. great line elements. you, making your own "c" curve, the eye being drawn to all of that and then to the center down the rest of the bridge. except for the dot of red at that point. perhaps you should have pushed the red jacketed person over the bridge so they didn't disrupt your shot and then ran back to where you were. i guess it was nice you didn't. kudos to you and the photographer.

Steve, thanks again for taking the time to chat with me. I am very honored. Peace...

Posted by: Geoff Young at November 11, 2007 3:40 PM

"yeah, i do (the) phillip bailey." :-D
damn dood, what a tease.

mr. bailey used to (guess he could still) make me melt (and of this, mr. cooper is certainly aware...).

kudos for you for spilling your beans all over the bar at starlite and kudos for mr. young doing such a great job with the writeup. --->he's good. i especially like the *teaser* re: celine dion and mention of your FAVorite places to play.

where oh where will they be? hmmmm

ok, chatty coop's quarter is about to run out.
smile a lot, folks will wonder what you're thinking...

Posted by: db cooper at November 12, 2007 10:24 PM it thursday yet? oh wait, i'll be on a plane.

i'll just thank gee-offf now for making your life and providing another week of giggly fodder.

peace out,

man that last hugh show sucked. i lost a lot of respect for hugh when that advertising lady was on. ads on dogs and brand tattoos on peoples foreheads is a good thing? yeah right. that lady is eeeevil. on the other hand this was the first bad show

Posted by: Danne at November 14, 2007 3:22 AM

What? Did you see the Make A Wish commercial? Yeah. She's evil.
