Oops I mean Adelaide. Last night was fun, fun, fun, in Brisbane. We broke the Brisbane jinx. Great turnout and what a crowd! I proved Milan wrong and now we get to always go back. He was thinking he couldn't afford Brizzy but we proved that
we need that little tropical town.

So Adelaide tonight. Here we gooooooo.
Then Sydney tomorrow at The Basement for the finale of the Aussie Traveling Tour. I want to thank everyone in advance for all the hospitality. We may be back in October for more fun and games. I'll cross my fingers.

Peace in 2008
Steve

Great gig in Brisbane last night. The crowd was a little quiet to start but Steve had them eating out of his hand by the end. Loved the encores, Steve just kept playing his songs by request Wow! How does he do that? Even songs he had forgotton about just popped out when someone yelled out a request!!!
Can't wait for October
His CDs Travelling and Unravelling have been on constant repeat play since last night.
Track 2 on Unravelling " Tied Down" has me a bit worried though Cheers Dave

Steve u rock!
Saw you at Northcote social club and hubby and I can't stop saying to each other "You're F*&%ed" (made dinner with friends interesting Sun night - I think they think we're horrible to each other!!)

Anyways, if you bring your awesome self back in Oct, would you be up playing to my grade of 5/6 year olds. Can't wait for the school year to start so I can play them The Barn! Spread the insanity to a whole new generation!

We LOVE you Stevo!!
Cheers,
Kylie

Yeah Rev Spankstoomuch... Oz has finally been the first for something!! And we can stay being behind the rest of the world in EVERYTHING if it means we'll always get Poltz releases first!!!

Steve - enjoy every minute of your Basement gig, and have a good flight home. xx

Another happy punter from the Adelaide show - absolutely mind-blowing!
i took a Poltz virgin along too, and he's a convert. I mean who wouldn't be converted after seeing such a great show!

Much thanks for your autographs. After the ladyman picture you drew on the cover of the live recording at your last show in rAdelaide, it's nice to now have Traveling signed with "Rob - I am a MAN NOW!"

And i might hold you to the offer of going to a baseball game in San Diego - i'm hoping to get over to the US for Coachella in a few months :o)

Steve, can you smuggle Meg back with you? You can put her in Flower Pot's case.

I'd like to buy her a taco.

Posted by: Revvy Spankers at January 11, 2008 6:26 AM

when you say "taco"...

Posted by: sean at January 11, 2008 2:08 PM

Steve, can you politely ask Rev Spanks to stop flirting with me on your blog. It's highly irregular.

Posted by: Meg at January 11, 2008 7:06 PM

STeve, thanks for a couple of great shows (brass monkey & basement) The sound at the basement was great and you were wonderful!!! pity about that old fella!

In october, would it be possible to schedule a trip to wollongong? the heritage hotel is great little venue, similar atmosphere to the basement.

Posted by: Elise at January 14, 2008 9:10 PM

Elise is right, The sound at The Basement was OFF THE HOOK... I went to both Brass Monkey Shows and I wish I knew about the Vanguard show.. But the Basement was THE highlight of your tour.. for me..
