A private message to The Rugburns

photo by a drunk guy at a show at Cheers of Ramona
Hi Rugburns,
I don't know if other people can see this or not. (hopefully not) I think I made this private just for The Rugburns. Stinky, Doc, John and sometimes Gregory. I know that there's this thing called the internet where people all over the world can see and hear things but I am sure that this posting is super duper private. Anyways, I wrote this song from the point of view of someone getting divorced and wanting their house back. I thought it would make a good Rugburns song. I can hear people at The Casbah singing along and jumping up and down. Please learn it and practice it so we can shred it apart like the fools that we are. If somehow other people are reading this then I have screwed up royally and they will hear the song too. I hope they respect my privacy and have not figured out how to download this demo I made in my living room. That would creep me out because there is cussing in this song.
Good luck learning it lads. Click below where it says Click here rugburns guys.
I'm so secretive and smart. The internet rules for top secret stuff like this!
love,
Poltzy
P.S. That was cool last time we were together naked in the shower before the show. I feel closer to you guys.

Henry Diltz photography
This is a photo from the show at The Morrison Hotel. We raised some good amounts of cash for the education fund for Lulu Blue. I thank you from the depths of my heart. Your kindness has been overwhelming and the support has been tremendous. Henry Diltz took this photo mid-story where I was probably babbling on about some meaningless thing. Most likely i was talking about food.
The date on the shirt is 1-20-09. That is the date of the next United States Presidential inaugaration. Hmmm, I wonder who's------- coming to dinner?
More later,
Steve

The next show I play is a special one. Do whatever you can to make it out here for this little shindig. Buddy Blue passed away a couple months ago. His daughter Lulu who is about to turn 4 will need to go to college one day. Buddy was a huge proponent of reading and writing. His daughter deserves to get the best education possible. Hell, he wanted her to become the first female President of the USA. ALL OF THE MONEY FROM THIS SHOW goes to the education fund for Lulu. I just spoke with Buddy's widow Annie, today, and she is holding up as well as can be expected after such a sudden loss. She and Lulu will be there with bells and whistles on, and I hope you will too.
La Jolla never really gets much live music these days so it will be a treat to play some tunes at such a cool little intimate venue. Located just one block from the ocean, The Morrison Hotel has all kinds of rock'n'roll photographs to look at, and it should be a beautiful evening. I hope you can make it out to this all ages event. I miss Buddy and think of him all the time and I just know he will be there in spirit.
